Ayman Mohamed graduated from the Faculty of Education, Zagazig University with a major in EFL in 2001. He pursued graduate studies in Egypt concurrently with holding a job at Zagazig University as an EFL/ESP instructor. In 2008-2009, he obtained a Master degree in Lingustics and ESL from the University of North Texas under a Fulbright grant. He received his PhD from Michigan State University SLS Program with a focus on second language vocabulary acquisition.
