أهلا وسهلا يا طلاب ...كيف حالكم ؟
اليوم ندرس الكلمات الجديدة في درس 1
Warm-up
Watch this song by Lebanese Nancy Agram. She is singing to Egypt.
A repeated phrase in the song "I am Egyptian' "you are Egyptian" . Figure out how to write these in Arabic and put them in your notebook. Additionally, think about how to express your nationality in Arabic and how should be different between male and female.
New Vocabulary
Now with the new book in hand or the online access, open Lesson 1 pages 2 and 3. Listen to the new vocabulary as many times. Do not just read, listen then attempt to read by yourself.
Now from the new vocabulary you can see three new verbs :
أدرُس I study
أسكُن I live
أعمَل I work
Make a conjugation chart for each verb in the present tense . The chart for the verb "work " is done for you on page 3 , the standard one is the blue column.
Do the same for "study" and "live" . Do this in your notebook for practice.
Speaking : Tell me about yourself
